Arinna raises $4M seed round to solve the space power problem

Arinna, a startup founded by Stanford PhDs, has raised $4 million to develop ultrathin, durable solar panels using a new material, transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), for spacecraft. This new technology aims to be more efficient and flexible than existing space solar panels. The company plans to test its panels in space this year and begin mass production in 2028, aiming to address power limitations in the space industry.
